Detroit (TX): Former Commerce (TX) assistant Paul Johnston is the new head coach / boys athletic coordinator.
Forrest City (TX): Ronald Lewis will not return to lead the program and has takent the offensive coordinator job at Midtown HS (Atlanta, GA).
North Mecklenburg (NC): North Mecklenburg HS, located in the Huntersville, NC is actively seeking a Defensive Back coach. Time, Motivation, and Effort is a must for this position. David Emanuel (Stillmore, GA): David Emanuel Academy in Stillmore, GA has announced TC Guyer as head football coach. Coach Guyer comes to David Emanuel from Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe HS (GA) where he has served as co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach.
Gulfport (MS): Gulfport HS is seeking a game for August 30 of this upcoming season. This needs to be a home game for Gulfport as it is the annual Port City Bowl. We are currently rebuilding the program and need the right coach to help with that. Position to be filled immediately. Science teaching position is available in school. Hilton Head Island (SC): Hilton Head Island High School (SC) has openings on the Varsity football staff. Looking for assistant football coaches who are student athlete driven, motivated and understand the time and effort that is required for growing and maintaining a football program. We have openings on both sides of the ball including OC and have flexibility to move guys around if another fit works better. This is a year round commitment with the expectation that candidates will participate in the off season program, spring football, summer conditioning and attend camps and clinics (we cover costs) to continue to further their coaching knowledge. We have multiple teaching opportunities at the High School including social studies and math, however We DO NOT have PE openings and we cannot offer temporary certification. We also have Para-pro assistant positions available as well. We are looking for coaches with previous coaching experience at the High School or Collegiate level preferred.
