Opposite Side Mesh Mechanics in Boundary RPOs: Boundary side reads in the RPO game are more efficient for two reasons: the route options are limited and so is this coverage. These two elements clean up the post-snap picture for the quarterback who can quickly identify the extra fitter and throw off him. Central College (IA) was 90% efficient in the RPO game, and the boundary menu was a big reason why- leaving one opposing coordinator to say “we didn’t have an answer for it.” Offensive coordinator Ryan Maiuri details for X&O Labs how he combined an opposite side mesh to influence the boundary safety and create more space in his RPO menu. Out-of-Door Academy (FL): The Out-of-Door Academy in Sarasota, Florida is looking for Quarterback Coach/Passing Game Coordinator. ODA is a private College Preparatory School grades PreK – 12 and competes with the FHSAA and are members of the Sunshine Athletic Conference. ODA will carry a roster size 35-40, with no JV, and went 9-1 in 2022. Full time teaching positions may be available in Math and Science but not a requirement. This is a Stipend Position.
