Each week, every head coach in the American, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West and Sun Belt has the opportunity to vote his belief on the best teams among the Group of 5.
No. 1 Boise State and No. 4 UNLV went toe-to-toe Friday night and it was a classic. Boise State battled through for a hard fought victory, cementing their unanimous selection atop the Coaches Poll.
AP No. 8 Notre Dame got the best of No. 6 Navy. No. 2 Army will learn from that tape and be ready for the Irish on Nov. 23.
Coaches kept UNLV near the top at No. 4, just a few percentage points below below No. 3 Tulane, a big winner over No. 12 North Texas.
During the season, coaches voting will remain anonymous.
