Each week, every head coach in the American, Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West and Sun Belt has the opportunity to vote his belief on the best teams among the Group of 5.
Once again, Boise State, Army and Tulane held their positions atop the Group of 5 Coaches Poll this week. Louisiana has moved into the Top 4 following their win over Arkansas State, which now has them 8-1 on the season with their only loss coming at home vs #3 Tulane.
Tulane is at Navy this weekend, while Army is off as they prepare to face Notre Dame next weekend in Yankee Stadium. The CFP Committee will undoubtedly be watching the American these next few weeks.
With Nos. 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13 and 14 in this week's ranking, the American and the Mountain West conferences are clearly producing some of the best teams in all of college football.
During the season, coaches voting will remain anonymous.
