Following a 9-4 season, Chip Kelly has signed a contract extension at UCLA.
The new deal aims to keep Kelly with the Bruins through the 2027 season.
With a year remaining on his previous deal, Kelly signed an extension last January that took him through the 2025 season that paid an average of $5.75 million annually.
No updated financial terms were included in UCLA's release.
Kelly has led the Bruins to 17 wins over the past two seasons, and is coming off a season that saw UCLA ranked in the final AP poll for the first time in nearly a decade.
His first three seasons in Westwood, beginning in 2018, Kelly notched three-straight losing seasons with finishes of 3-9, 4-8 and 3-4 before turning things around with an eight-win campaign in 2021.
