Bill Belichick wore the hat of both as NFL head coach and GM during his time leading the Patriots before he and the organization parted ways this last fall.
Most folks figured he'd quickly land on his feet, but as we shared earlier, he wasn't as close to landing another head coaching job as many reporters at the time led us all to believe.
Say what you want about his how his tenure ended in New England, his record post-Tom Brady, or even how the Patriots organization drafted as of recent, Belichick will forever be one of the best to ever grace a sideline.
One outlet is set to capitalize on his unique expertise, as Belichick has landed a gig during co-hosting a "Draft Spectactular" live during next week's NFL Draft, starting at 7:30 next week.
McAfee announced the news on air earlier today, and Belichick grinned from ear to ear as he put together more than two sentences in front of a camera for the first time in a long time.
He'll be leaned on to do much more of that during the show's coverage of the draft, providing a great opportunity for the veteran head coach to quiet his critics whose words rang so loud in today's article on why he didn't land a head coaching job this last cycle.
Should be a great opportunity for him to show some personality and that he's willing to grow in an effort to land a job the next head coaching cycle.
