Tim Brewster has landed new coaching opportunity (Tim Brewster)

After resigning from Deion Sanders staff at Colorado earlier this week, sources tell FootballScoop that Tim Brewster is expected to land a new coaching opportunity.

Over the ensuing few days the 63-year old college coaching veteran weighed a few different options to stay in coaching, and sources share that he has decided to join the staff in Charlotte with Biff Poggi.

Brewster, the former head coach at Minnesota, coached the tight ends for Prime in Boulder.

Long regarded as one of the game's premier recruiters, Brewster is a well traveled college assistant coach with stops at UNC, Texas, Mississippi State, Florida State, Texas A&M, and Florida before joining the staffs of Deion Sanders at Jackson State and Colorado.

He last worked with the receivers in 2012 in Starkville, and most of his experience has been with the tight ends.
