Gallaudet University is the premier institute of higher learning for the Deaf and hard of hearing. This position will begin in August 2026 and run through December 2026. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting the Defensive Coordinator with implementing game plans, coaching of special teams and a defensive position (depending on applicant's ability to communicate), film analysis, academic support, and attending team and coaching staff meetings. Job requirements include a Bachelor’s degree, playing experience at the collegiate level, and knowledge of American SignLanguage (ASL) is preferred. If the successful candidate has no prior knowledge with ASL, it will be expected that the intern is willing to learn. The successful applicant will be provided with a dorm room and a meal plan.
