Emporia State (D-II - KS): Emporia State University Sports Performance has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant coach. This position comes with a full tuition waver, along with a monthly stipend of $1,200 for 10 months. This position will assist w/football as well as being responsible for 2-3 other teams based on experience. Qualifications: Certification by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or certification by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA); certification must be maintained. Acceptance into Emporia State Graduate School, with a bachelors degree in the field strength & conditioning. Knowledge of the rules and safety requirements of strength and conditioning training. This includes, but is not limited to, teaching lifting techniques, speed and agility, working with Sports Medicine to develop appropriate injury modifications and return to play protocols for injured athletes, and knowledge of NCAA Division II rules.
