Sources: Ohio State filling offensive line job with ACC coordinator (Tyler Bowen)

Virginia Tech offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen is expected to be Ohio State's next offensive line coach, sources told FootballScoop on Wednesday.

Bowen replaces Justin Frye, who took the offensive line job with the Arizona Cardinals.

Frye was UCLA's offensive coordinator before coming to Ohio State, and Ryan Day fills his spot with another Power 4 offensive coordinator in Bowen.

Bowen previously coached the offensive line at Fordham (2015-16) and Maryland (2017), but has primarily coached tight ends since. He held that role at Penn State and with the Jacksonville Jaguars before taking the OC role in Blacksburg in 2022. Bowen then moved to quarterbacks in 2023.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
