Sources: Offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo not expected to return at Boston College (Dave DeGuglielmo)

Coaching veteran Dave DeGuglielmo is not expected to return at Boston College after one season working with the Eagles offensive line.

DeGuglielmo, who has three decades of experience, was named offensive line coach on Jeff Hafley's staff back in February of 2022.

It was a sentimental return to Chestnut Hill for Dave, who got his start in coaching at Boston College as a graduate assistant back in the early 90s before he was elevated to offensive line coach for a few seasons.

He has spent over half his career (16 seasons in total) coaching in the NFL with stops with the Giants, Dolphins, Colts, Patriots and Jets. His time in the league yielded two Super Bowl rings, one with the Giants (2007) and one with the Patriots (2014).

The year prior to joining the BC staff, DeGuglielmo was the offensive line coach at Louisiana Tech.

Hafley and the Eagles are currently seeking to fill their offensive coordinator vacancy on staff as well. The program parted ways with John McNulty after just one season back on January 11th.
