Sources: Morehead State set to make change at head coach (Pioneer League)

After a 4-7 season concluded Sunday with a 31-27 loss to Presbyterian, Morehead State is moving on from long-time coach Rob Tenyer, sources tell FootballScoop.

Tenyer had been the Eagles head coach since before the 2013 season, and he had been on Morehead State's staff for more than 20 years.

After a solid 7-4 campaign in 2021, the Eagles slumped to just a combined 6-16 mark in the last two seasons, including a lackluster 2-9 slate in 2022.

Tenyer also served as Morehead State's offensive coordinator in addition to his head coaching duties.

The Eagles had slumped to just a combined 4-8 mark in Pioneer Football League play.
