Sources tell FootballScoop that Georgetown (FCS) is set to bolster their offensive staff with a Memphis staffer.
Tigers offensive graduate assistant Joey Partin is expected to become the new offensive line coach on the Georgetown staff, sources share.
Before joining the Memphis staff, where he followed offensive coordinator Tim Cramsey from Marshall, Partin served in a quality control role for the Thundering Herd, working with the special teams.
He arrived in Huntington from Hampden-Sydney (D-III - VA), where he enjoyed a successful playing career before he joined the coaching staff for five seasons.
While coaching at his alma mater, he worked primarily with the tight ends and tackles while also serving as the strength and conditioning coach and video coordinator.
