John David Baker, who's been a part of high-powered offenses at both Southern Cal and Ole Miss, has positioned himself to run his own offense.
Multiple sources Friday tell FootballScoop that Baker is leaving Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss staff.
Baker previously has been the Rebels' co-offensive coordinator and a passing game coordinator.
Baker played quarterback at Abilene Christian and also had a brief pro career in the AFL.
ECU finished 2-10 this season, Mike Houston's fifth as head coach of the Pirates. Houston's squads had won 15 games over the prior two seasons.
