With racial tensions at a historic level following the unnecessary death of George Floyd, a handful of black NFL players have come together with a video message aimed at the NFL.

Some of the league's most recognizable players including Michael Thomas, Patrick Mahomes, Ezekiel Elliott, and Deshaun Watson appear in the video where use their platform to emphatically state that they "will not be silenced," with a plea for the NFL to state:

"We, the National Football League, condemn racism and the systematic oppression of black people. We, the National Football League, admit wrong in silencing our players from peacefully protesting. We, the National Football League, believe that Black Lives Matter."

In the video each one of them asks the league, "What if I was George Floyd?" before they each taking turns saying "I am..." followed by a black life that taken too soon.
