SEC commissioner Greg Sankey weighs in on canceling fall season (Featured)

As all eyes in the country zero in on Big Ten headquarters and seemingly everyone, including the President, are weighing in on what the conference and its Power 5 brethren should do, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey popped in to offer the same sermon he's been preaching since March.

The SEC will be the last of the Power 5 leagues to kick off, on Sept. 26, and will not open fall camps until Aug. 17. While the Big Ten is past time to make a decision with a scheduled Sept. 3 kickoff, the SEC has time -- at least to the end of this week.

As the Big Ten is reportedly working to marshal support in canceling the fall season, it's clear the SEC won't follow them out the door. At least not immediately. Here's Sankey's statement in gif form.

As always, stay tuned to The Scoop for the latest.
