Gary Andersen: In a stunning piece, The Oregonian columnist John Canzano reveals a string of texts Andersen sent him over the course of the past 6 weeks. In the texts Andersen both reveals the issues he was dealing with personally and reveals no nice thoughts regarding his assistants.

Gettysburg College (D-III - PA): After 42 years of service, head coach Barry Streeter has announced he will retire following the season. Streeter has piled up 195 victories as head coach. AD David Wright announced, "Barry will be greatly missed and virtually impossible to replace." A national search will begin towards the end of the season the school announced.

Miami Dolphins: The Fins are "likely" to hire Dave DeGuglielmo as offensive line coach, according to Jeff Darlington of ESPN. DeGugliemo served as Miami's offensive line coach from 2009-11 and also coached the o-line for the Giants, Jets and Patriots.

NC State: The University and head coach Dave Doeren are working on an extension reports Dan Wolken of USA Today, who adds the University expects to announce the extension in the coming days. Doeren's existing contract only ran through the 2019 season.

Texas A&M: Offensive line coach Jim Turner teaches his room to keep their mission simple, "Our job is to block until the world ends."

Iowa: Athletic director Gary Barta has prostate cancer and is taking an extended leave of absence to undergo surgery and treatment, the school has announced. He will return to his duties as soon as his recovery will allow and in the mean time, deputy director of athletics Barbara Burke will step in to lead the athletic department.

University of Saint Francis (NAIA - IL): The University of St. Francis, located in Joliet, IL, is seeking a game for the 2018 season. We are open August 25 or September 1. Open to home or road contest. If interested, we would be willing to provide a small guarantee in order to secure a home game on either date. Oregon State: Yesterday, Oregon State and Gary Andersen agreed to part ways, and by doing so, Andersen walked away from a lot of money.
