The last time Texas A&M went to Starkville, the Aggies dressed in all black, contrasted in the Bulldogs' all white, in what was dubbed the #SnowBowl.
The game was a rout, as Texas A&M took a 21-0 lead on touchdown drives of 73, 79 and 87 before undefeated and 17th-ranked Mississippi State even had so much as 40 yards of total offense. The Aggies won the game, 38-13.
Saturday, A&M again goes to Starkville facing a Bulldogs team that's undefeated and climbed inside the top 20 nationally. So it makes sense to make a tradition of abandoning tradition: any time A&M faces an undefeated Mississippi State team in Starkville, it abandons maroon for black or chrome.
These apparently come from the Paul Wall collection of college football uniforms.
Considering both schools wear Adidas, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulldogs take the field in a surprise all black look.
