Some of the new Alliance of American Football teams have official nicknames and logos (Featured)

When the Alliance of American Football had been announced, they first announced the cities that the team would be launched and no nicknames or logos were announced, leaving many to wonder what would come to be.

Well that wait came to an end this morning for a number of teams, as half the league had their logo and nickname revealed. Shortly after the logo was shared, the AAF official twitter account also shared a brief video on how the organization came to a decision on the team name, taking into account the history of the city the team will be playing in.

So far, teams in Birmingham, Orlando, Memphis, and Atlanta have shared their logo and nicknames.

As with everything the league has done at this point - especially hiring head coaches - these are all really well thought out and very professional looking.

Birmingham Iron - HC Tim Lewis

Memphis Express - HC Mike Singletary

Atlanta Legends - HC Brad Childress

Orlando Apollos - HBC Steve Spurrier

Here's a look at the reported helmets for each of these four clubs.

We'll update the article as the names and logos are shared for the Alliance teams in San Diego, Salt Lake, Pheonix and San Antonio.
