Kliff Kingsbury is reportedly weighing NFL options (Kliff Kingsbury)

Shortly after he was let go as the head coach of the Cardinals after a 4-13 season this past fall, Kliff Kingsbury reportedly hopped on a plane to Thailand for some deserved rest and relaxation.

That news made it clear that Kingsbury wasn't going to hop back into any coaching role without some time to decompress.

Well, sounds like that time has come.

Dan Graziano tweets today that Kingsbury is back in The States and is currently meeting with the Texans about a position on the staff of first-year head coach DeMeco Ryans.

Aaron Wilson adds that Kingsbury is in to discuss the offensive coordinator opportunity.

Kingsbury's Cardinals saw Ryans and the 49ers defense twice last year, and managed just 10 points in their first meeting and 13 the second time around, so there's likely a healthy amount of respect on Kingsbury's behalf for Ryans.

Kingsbury, who was a two-time winner of the FootballScoop Coordinator of the Year Award during his time calling plays at both Houston and Texas A&M, should certainly be a sought after name as some of these new staffs continue to come together in Houston, Indianapolis, Denver and Carolina.
