In the latest installment of the podcast, King asked 10 head coaches to make a pitch to mothers on why they should let their son's play football.
Overall, coaches shared some great thoughts, and most of those thoughts centered on the life lessons that football teaches young people, how it prepares them for life, and why the game has never been safer than it is right now. John Harbaugh, Sean Payton, Mike Tomlin, Jon Gruden, and Anthony Lynn are just a few of the head coaches who weigh in with their thoughts.
Perhaps the best soundbite came (not surprisingly at all) from Gruden.
That last sentence - "Live in your hopes, not your fears" - is a short, memorable, and powerful message that is really going to hit home and put things in perspective for a lot of folks.
