We've come to our ninth and final installment of the FootballScoop salary series, and perhaps our most intriguing.
The vast majority of head coaches have their offensive coordinators also coach quarterbacks for reasons Stevie Wonder can see. But not all of them do. But in the event where the coordinator handles a position separate from quarterbacks, the quarterbacks coach is still a valued member of the staff, as evidenced below.

-- We don't know Mike Yurcich's Ohio State salary yet. While he won't officially be the Buckeyes' offensive coordinator like Ryan Day was last season (Kevin Wilson holds that title for 2019), Day made $1.2 million in 2018.
-- Michigan will net a savings of $1.15 million for its quarterbacks coach from 2018 to '19. Pep Hamilton made $1.45 million in the same spot McDaniels will earn $300,000.
-- Michigan State's entry on this list comes with an asterisk. Warner did not coach Michigan State's quarterbacks last season (Brad Salem did) while serving as Sparty's offensive coordinator. Mark Dantonio shuffled the staff and moved Warner to quarterbacks and, until we're told otherwise, his salary remains the same, making him the highest-paid quarterbacks coach in college football. For the record, Salem made $438,000 last season.
