As a coach, Herm Edwards will forever be remembered for his passionate speeches.
Who could forget this gem?

Edwards came out to an NC State practice and addressed players after a practice, and started off by noting that he didn't want to address them as a former coach, analyst, or guy that was associated with the NFL for over 30 years, but rather as a football player.
"I have always considered myself a football player before anything else," Edwards explained to the players.
"This is how it works in football, and in life, if you don't have enough confidence to bet on you - on you personally - then don't walk in that huddle. And if the other 10 guys in the huddle feel like that guy can't bet on himself, and he won't give his all for me, don't allow him in the huddle."
"I don't want to walk into a huddle questioning the guy my left, or to my right. I don't want to question the guy. Not only on the field, but also what he does off the field. One thing about a team, is we know everyone's business. We know how guys prepare, we know the guys in the weight room, we know the guys that go to class and don't go to class, we know the guys that are accountable."
"This is a game of accountability. Accountability and availability. Don't tell me about talent. God gave you your talent men. It's a gift from God. Don't you waste it. But here's the deal. When you walk into the huddle do you trust each other? Because the coach ain't in there."
