Deion Sanders: "I've never been a part of fans storming the field ... I love it!" (We Comin)

After his team had finished its bludgeoning of longtime rival Nebraska, and after he had escaped the chaotic scene as fans inside sold-out Folsom Field poured out of the stands, Deion Sanders relished the moment.

The No. 22 Buffaloes routed the Cornhuskers, 36-14, and star Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders -- son of Coach Prime -- dissected the opposition for 393 passing yards.

"I'm so proud of our team, so resilient," Deion Sanders told Fox's Jenny Taft. "We stunk it up in the first half, but in the second half, we came back. We started that in the latter part of the first half, but we had a great talk at halftime and we just came back and used our resilience."

A week after they allowed 42 points and more than 500 yards' offense, the Buffaloes on defense stymied Nebraska throughout and forced four turnovers.

"They played their butts off," Coach Prime said. "It was just a couple of personnel things that we needed to go fix. We're still going to go take a look; giving up that big play at the end of the game, we hate stuff like that. Coaches do."

Sanders then praised the entire moment.

"Overall, I'm so proud of our kids, so proud of the coaches, so proud of our school, the alumni," Coach Prime said. "You can see the kids storming the field, I've never been a part of anything like that before. So, I loved it, 100 percent."

Deion Sanders then added his familiar refrain when asked what's next for Colorado.

"I don't think I stumbled or stuttered when I told you we were coming," Coach Prime said. "... We comin'!"
