Two Clemson players celebrating the team's special season at the year end football banquet decided it was the perfect opportunity to pop the question, surrounded by their friends, coaches, and families.
Eric Mac Lain and Travis Blanks were the two players who took full advantage of the opportunity. See how each one played out below.
Most importantly, both ladies said YES! Back in November, on Senior Day against Wake Forest, a lineman popped the question on the sideline before the game in full uniform.
So in total, that's three proposals in the span of a few months following a very special season for Dabo Swinney and his crew.
When I saw this pattern, I could't help but think back to the 2007 Fiesta Bowl when Boise State running back Ian Johnson proposed to his cheerleader girlfriend after scoring on the infamous Statue of Liberty play (relive that moment below.). I'm not sure if these are quite that level, but they are certainly special in their own regard.
These are all moments that put an exclamation point on a season that these three couples will certainly remember for the rest of their lives.
