Bryan Harsin has spent the last two seasons away from the sidelines after being let go at Auburn following a 3-5 start to the 2022 season.
He landed the job on The Plains following a remarkable 69-19 run at both Boise State (his alma mater) and Arkansas State.
Prior to that, the former Boise State quarterback made a name for himself as an offensive play caller, first at Boise State before leaving for the co-offensive coordinator opportunity at Texas, where he also worked with the quarterbacks
Now, a report tonight shares that Harsin has emerged for one of the top offensive coordinator jobs currently on the market.
Harsin has reportedly emerged as a candidate for the offensive coordinator opening at Cal under Justin Wilcox, 247 shares.
At Cal, Wilcox is looking for his third offensive coordinator in three seasons. Jake Spavital left prior to this season for the same post at Baylor and last week Wilcox decided to replace Mike Bloesch after just one season.
While Harsin was the offensive play caller at Boise State (2006-10), the Broncos posted a 61-5 record, including two undefeated seasons and two Fiesta Bowl wins over both Oklahoma and TCU.
