Today, Moline HS (IL) head coach Mike Morrissey joined us on the FootballScoop Online Clinic to talk some passing game.
Coach Morrissey has an interesting perspective as someone who utilized the spread as the head coach at Desert Mountain HS (AZ) a few seasons ago (with Kurt Warner as his offensive coordinator) and then found the need to adapt to his personnel at Moline HS, so they switched to the Wing-T.
In his evolution as a head coach and play caller, Morrissey found a way to adapt the effective and successful spread concepts they had at Desert Mountain to their new approach with the Wing-T offense. Because of that unique experience, he's been able to set a number of school records during a successful run at Moline.
