Down 42-3, Hawaii head coach Nick Rolovich had the sideline benches removed Saturday (bench)

There wasn't a whole for Nick Rolovich to be happy about after his Hawaii squad went down 42-3 in the third quarter against Boise State on Saturday.

Clearly upset, and looking to send a message to his players, Rolo decided to have the sideline benches removed.

Eventually, the absent benches were replaced with a few folding chairs.

Boise State went on beat Rolo and Hawaii 52-16, but you know the Hawaii players got Rolo's message loud and clear. They'll get a chance to prove that with two games left, one at Fresno State, and then a home season finale against UMass.
