Prime vs. Fran: The ball is now in the court of the NCAA after Syracuse and Colorado petition for the ability to scrimmage in the spring. 

East Mississippi CC (JC): Per source, George Frazier, former FIU and UT-Martin (FCS) defensive line coach, has accepted the defensive line job at EMCC.

Marist (FCS - NY): Adam McGuire, who is in his second season on staff, has been promoted to recruiting coordinator and will continue in his role as defensive backs coach.

New Haven (D-II - CT): Josh Zamot has accepted the wide receivers job with the New Haven program.

Tennessee State (FCS): It's official. As we've been sharing over the past week, Reggie Barlow is the new head coach at TSU, where he replaces Eddie George.

Central State (D-II - OH): Tony Carter has been announced as the new head coach. Carter is a former standout corner at Florida State and played eight season in the NFL before transitioning into coaching, where he spent time on staff with the Lions, Jacksonville University and as a defensive coordinator in the XFL with the Orlando Guardians.

Norwich (D-III - CT): Norwich University has an offensive GA opening. You will coach your own position and recruit your own territory. Wide Receiver background will be preferred but will consider best fit. Compensation includes, 5k stipend, room and board, and masters degree. Ohio State: Carlos Locklyn, the man mentoring the running backs for the national champs declares, "If your kids are soft, you're soft. Go look in the mirror."

Central Michigan: Matt Drinkall has retained Brandon Blaney and Mark DeBastiani. After joining the staff last season as an offensive quality control coach, Blaney will serve as a senior offensive analyst. Prior to joining the CMU staff, Blaney spent four seasons at Eastern Michigan as tight ends coach / co-run game coordinator. DeBastiani will be the senior defensive analyst after working with the linebackers the past few seasons.

Concordia Wisconsin (D-III): CUW has a full-time assistant coach position open. This position will be for a DB Coach, with the possibility of Defensive Coordinator for the right candidate. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until the position has been filled.

Schreiner (D-III - TX): Schreiner University is seeking applicants for a full-time defensive line coach / assistant strength coach. This position includes coaching the defensive line on the field, position meetings, special teams’ duties, as well as all things that go along with coaching; assist the head coach in all phases of strength and conditioning; recruiting; organize official and unofficial visits; assist with practice, game preparations, and planning of travel itineraries; student-athlete mentoring, fundraising, game management and scheduling and any other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach or Defensive Coordinator. Gulf Shores (AL): Former college head coach Mark Hudspeth at Gulf Shores HS is looking for 3 young interns to coach. 1 offensive, 1 defensive and 1 special teams intern to work with him, Offensive Coordinator Kenny Edenfield and Defensive Coordinator Brian VanGorder. (both former Division I coordinators). Salary is $15,000, coach your own position, no teaching, opportunity for extra benefits, future advancement, some meals provided and live at the BEACH!
