Schreiner (D-III - TX): Schreiner University is seeking applicants for a full-time Sports Performance Coordinator. Applicant will be responsible for design, implementation and supervision of 20 teams, scheduling year-round work out programs, hiring graduate assistants, ordering addition strength equipment for our brand new 5000 square foot weight room (opening in July). Virginia Tech: Virginia Tech Football Strength and Conditioning staff is currently accepting applications for our Summer 2025 volunteer internship program. The position will run from May 21, 2025 – July 25, 2025 with potential to stay on in the fall. Ideal candidates must be highly motivated and working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Exercise Science or a related field. Candidates must be CPR/AED certified and possess, or currently working towards their certification through the NSCA, CSCCa or USAW. This internship will also fulfill the CSCCa practicum requirements working under the supervision of a CSCCa approved Master Strength & Conditioning Coach. Internship college credit hours may be obtained as well. The duties of the internship will include set up and break down of the weight room, daily cleaning and maintenance, completion of an educational curriculum, hands-on experience, and any other duties assigned by the strength and conditioning staff. Colorado School of Mines: Colorado School of Mines (CO): The Colorado School of Mines Strength & Conditioning Department is actively seeking hard working applicants for internship positions working with all varsity sports within our program for the Fall Term 2021 (June 2 – August 15th). Interns will have the ability to learn from a CSCCa Approved Mentor. The intent of the internship is to provide a semester of hands-on training to prepare the candidate to take on the next level position in strength and conditioning as either a graduate assistant or full-time strength coach. Interns are expected to participate in a comprehensive and challenging educational program, including white board discussion and hands-on experience in the following areas: program design, biomechanics, football and Olympic program development, exercise instruction, Olympic lifting progressions and techniques, plyometrics, speed and agility techniques, energy system development, regeneration methods, nutritional basics, leadership and facility and athlete management. Internship responsibilities will include various duties within the Colorado School of Mines Strength and Conditioning Department. Hours will vary throughout the semester and may include early morning, late afternoon hours, and weekends. Previous weight room or athletic coaching experience is a plus. Requirements: 1) CPR/AED/First Aid 2) Must be working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field 3) Must have, or working towards CSCS, SCCC, USAW, etc. 4) Must have strong desire to pursue a career in the strength and conditioning profession 4) Must be pro-active, excellent work ethic, and disciplined. Central Connecticut State: Central Connecticut State is looking to hire a Sports Performance Graduate Intern to assist the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance in the supervision of 16 Division 1 teams. Applicant will be responsible for design, implementation and supervision of 2-4 teams as assigned by the Assistant Athletic Director for Sports Performance. Qualifications: Must have experience teaching Olympic lifts and other strength exercises. Must possess a Bachelors degree in Exercise Science or fitness related field. Applicant must be SCCC and/or CSCS or currently in the process of becoming certified. The successful applicant must meet the admission requirements for CCSU’s Graduate School and be prepared to begin working no later than May 27 th , 2025. Compensation: $12,000 stipend and tuition waiver for 6 hours of graduate study (fall and spring) as well as 3 hours during the summer. Temple: Temple University Football is currently accepting applications for Summer 2025 Internship positions. This is an unpaid position that is responsible for assisting the Football Strength and Conditioning staff with the implementation of the summer program, set up and break down of all workouts, maintenance and upkeep of the weight room and facility, hands on experience training collegiate athletes and exposure to various sports science technologies. Required qualifications include completion or current pursuit of an undergraduate degree in exercise science or a related course of study, a desire to become a strength and conditioning professional, and possess a strong work ethic. Other preferred qualifications include certification from an accredited organization, previous coaching experience, and proficiency in teaching and performing Olympic movements. There is no monetary compensation or housing provided, so if this position is not an economically feasible option for you, please do not apply. If interested, please apply before May 1st.
