USC: The University of Southern California is currently accepting applications for a Volunteer Internship for Summer 2025 Semester to work with football. This is an UNPAID internship. This internship will start on (5/29/2025) and last through the summer (8/1/2025) with potential to continue into the Fall and Spring semester. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be professional, and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Must be working towards a certification (CSCS or SCCC). It is strongly advised that all potential candidates make sure that this internship is financially feasible before applying. All applicants must be considerate of their schedule and time management. Sul Ross State (D-II - TX): Sul Ross State University is looking for Strength and Conditioning graduate assistant applicants for Spring 2025. Only apply if interested in becoming a collegiate strength coach. Working on your current strength and conditioning certification (CSCS, SCCC or USAW) and coaching/playing experience at the collegiate level are preferred. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, and show the ability to motivate and lead Student-Athletes on a daily basis. Kansas: University of Kansas Football Sports Performance is currently seeking volunteers for an UNPAID internship to contribute to the program for SUMMER 2025. Qualified candidates will have the opportunity to assist the full-time staff with training sessions for football in compliance with NCAA rules. This is an unpaid opportunity that offers invaluable knowledge and hands-on experience assisting the full-time coaching staff in all aspects of the strength and conditioning program, and the potential to earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Potential candidates must possess a strong work ethic and character, great energy and enthusiasm, as well as the ability to demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Potential candidates must have a great desire to learn about the strength and conditioning profession as well as pursue a career in the collegiate setting. Previous experience in a strength & conditioning program, coaching internship experience, or collegiate athletics experience is preferred but not required. This internship is expected to begin May 2025 and end at the conclusion of July 2025. Georgia: The University of Georgia Football Strength and Conditioning Department is seeking highly motivated interns to fulfill UNPAID internship positions with our Football program from May 27th to July 28th 2025. Candidates must have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, be professional, proficient and have a desire to become a sports performance coach. Candidates will also earn accredited hours under a Master Strength Coach needed for the SCCC certification through the CSCCa. Hours will vary throughout the summer including early morning, late afternoon, or weekend hours. Internship responsibilities will include various duties within the UGA Football S&C Staff.
