QB Pressure in 2.42 Seconds: The 3rd Down Pressure System That Navy, JMU & Rutgers Are Using to Disrupt Offenses: This time last off-season, only a handful of programs utilized three-to-a-side loaded presentations on 3rd down, but now they're widespread across college football, with East Carolina, James Madison, Navy, and Rutgers majoring in these looks. The researchers at X&O Labs analyzed 279 third-down mandatory pass situations, revealing the remarkable effectiveness of these loaded presentations: 47.7% resulted in QB pressure, with an average time to pressure of just 2.42 seconds, and 28.57% of pressures came from unblocked defenders. In an exclusive research report, X&O Labs reveals the movement patterns affecting both slide and man sides of protection, comparing efficiency rates of field vs. boundary loaded fronts, interior (A-B gaps) vs. exterior (C-D gaps) pressure movements, and identifying the most efficient time-to-pressure techniques against various protection schemes, including specific pass rush moves for one-on-one situations with tackles. Comstock Park (MI): Comstock Park HS is looking to add quality coaches to the staff. Openings 1 offensive position (flexible - could be OL, WRs, or QBs). Co-Coordinator title possible for right candidate. Looking for 1 coach on defense - defensive coordinator possible - with experience with linebackers or in the secondary. Defensive coordinator would be expected to serve as the head coach of the defense with preference given to coaches who have an approach to make offensive coordinators uncomfortable. Larkin (Elgin, IL): Larkin HS is seeking candidates for Offensive and Defensive Coordinator positions. Strong preference will be given to stipend-only candidates located in the West Suburbs of Chicago. There is always the potential for an opening within the school or district. Damien (La Verne, CA): Damien High School, an all-boys private Catholic school in La Verne, CA, is seeking an experienced Offensive Coordinator to join its football program. The preferred candidate will have previous experience as an offensive coordinator and a strong understanding of offensive schemes, game planning, and player development.
