Northwest Mississippi Community College (JC): Defensive coordinator Benjy Parker has been promoted to the head coaching position, vacated by Jack Wright who left to join the Southern Miss staff. Parker has been the team's defensive coordinator the past two seasons.

Iowa: Athletic director Gary Barta has agreed to a five-year extension taking him through 2021, with a salary bump of around $200,000 annually (bringing his total compensation to about $600,000 with deferred compensation coming on top), per Luke Meredith.

Chris Scelfo: We are told that Chris Scelfo no longer plans to take over as head coach of the Sydney Express of the NGL (Australia). We are told Scelfo will remain in the US.

Memphis: Mike Norvell has now announced Mark Bonis as director of player personnel and Kenny Dillingham as an offensive graduate assistant working with the quarterbacks.

San Francisco 49ers: Longtime college assistant Dana Bible will join Chip Kelly's staff according to Adam Caplan of ESPN.

Weber State: In addition to wide receivers coach Kelly Bills, Weber State has hired Preston Hadley as defensive backs coach.

San Jose State: Former Fresno State tight ends / inside receivers coach Phil Earley is joining the San Jose State staff per source.

Cornell: Cornell University football is seeking applicants for offensive intern and defensive intern positions. Duties will include assisting the coaching staff with recruiting logistics, including research, logging and categorizing information and preparing mailings; quality control tasks such as tracking statistics and calls, and creating reports; breakdown of game film of future opponents; and other tasks as assigned by the head football coach. Big 12: Commissioner Bob Bowlsby made $2.6 million in 2014-2015, up about $100,000 from the previous year, per Jon Solomon of CBS Sports.

SUNY Maritime (D-III - NY): Saj Thakkar has been named offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach. Thakkar spent last season as defensive backs coach / special teams coordinator for the program.

Malone (D-II - OH): Head coach Fred Thomas has announced his staff as follows; Dustin Miller (OC / QBs), Alex Gray (DC / DBs), Ryan Hardie (S&C / LBs), Andrew Sinko (OL), Paul Kempe (TEs / slot receivers), Eric Baumgartner (DL / Academic Coordinator / Recruiting Coordinator), Jason Scibona (kicking game coordinator / RBs), Drew Bond (WRs), Sione Veikoso (OL), Lucas Haupt (DBs), Denny Blake (LBs), Caleb Norrick (DFO).

FIU: Per a report from SI, former East Carolina special teams coordinator / running backs coach Kirk Doll will be the new special teams coordinator at FIU.

Western Connecticut (D-III): Western Connecticut State University is looking for a defensive assistant (linebackers or defensive line) football coach. Bachelor’s degree required. This position will be responsible for coaching a position, have a recruiting territory and other duties assigned by the head football coach. Playing experience at the collegiate level is preferred and coaching experience is a plus. No benefits provided. No phone calls please. Scoop him up:Matt Clark spent this past season coaching the tight ends at Louisiana Mornoe under head coach Todd Berry, who is now the Executive Director of the AFCA. Prior to joining the ULM staff in 2015, Clark worked as the offensive line coach / recruiting coordinator at Nicholls State where they averaged over 5 yards per carry in 2014 and 2013. From 2009-2011, Clark worked as a graduate assistant with the ULM program working with the offensive line, quarterbacks, and wide receivers. Clark also has some NFL experience, working with the Seattle Seahawks in 2007. On top of his coaching duties, Clark worked as a counselor at the prestigious Manning Passing Academy dating back to 2012, and Clark was recently one of 30 coaches nationally selected to take part in the 2016 NCAA-NFL Coaches Academy. Texas: Per source, Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings will be the new defensive backs coach at Texas. Before joining Bret Bielema's staff at Arkansas, Jennings spent six seasons coaching defensive backs at TCU, and also holds secondary experience at Baylor, Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette and Sam Houston State, among others.

Dallas Cowboys: Michigan defensive backs coach Greg Jackson is joining the Cowboys staff as safeties coach, per a report from Fox Sports. Ian Rapoport adds that Joe Baker will coach the team's corners.

BYU: The program has announced the additions of Jasen Ah You (director of football athletic relations), Jack Damuni (director of player personnel), and Sione Kinikini (director of football player development).

Indiana State: Source tells FootballScoop Gary Hyman is joining Mike Sanford's staff. Hyman served as the special teams coordinator at Kansas this past season; but was moved into an "off the field" role at KU a few months back when Kansas added Jason Phillips to the staff as receivers coach.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have hired Cowboys offensive assistant Kevin Carberry as an assistant offensive line coach.

Wake Forest: Dave Clawson has announced that Clark Lea is joining the staff to coach the linebackers. Lea spent the past three seasons in the same capacity at Syracuse, and previously coached the linebackers under Clawson at Bowling Green in 2012, where he was a finalist for the FootballScoop Linebackers Coach of the Year.

Colorado State: The program has now formally announced that Jamie Bryant has joined Mike Bobo's staff as special teams coordinator.

North Texas: Head coach Seth Littrell has now formally announced the additions of Mike Ekeler (DC / LBs), Troy Reffett (assistant HC / co-DC), Derrick LeBlanc (DL), Nate Brown (CBs), Zack Wommack (head S&C), and Shane Elder (assistant AD for football operations). These hires complete Littrell's staff.

Ohio State: Eleven Warriors notes that, while the contract hasn't been signed yet, new offensive line coach Greg Studrawa will make $400,000 annually in his two year agreement.

Lake Erie College (D-II - OH): Lake Erie College would like to thank those who applied for their offensive line job, and the program is no longer accepting applicants. A decision is expected to be made in the next week. Thanks for the overwhelming interest.

South Carolina State: Former South Carolina linebackers coach Kirk Botkin is expected to join the South Carolina State staff as defensive coordinator, per The State. Botkin spent the past four season as a member of Steve Spurrier's coaching staff.

UW-Stout (D-III): University of Wisconsin- Stout is accepting applications for an assistant football coach working with the defensive line or linebackers. This is a full-time, 9 month position with full benefits, $36,500 salary. Master’s Degree required. Must have experience playing or coaching defensive line or linebackers. Sam Houston State: Former USF assistant Troy Douglas, who spent last season as a defensive analyst at Florida State, has joined the coaching staff at Sam Houston State working with the secondary.

St. Thomas (D-III - MN): The University of St. Thomas has an opening for a defensive assistant coach. It is a restricted/stipended, 9-month position. The position includes coaching a position group, a recruiting territory and work with film breakdown. Positional preference is defensive line. Oklahoma Baptist (D-II): Per source, former Edmond-Deer Creek HS (OK) head coach Grant Gower has accepted the offensive coordinator job.

Texas: Multiple outlets out of Austin are reporting that Brick Haley has turned down Texas A&M and will remain at Texas. We can confirm the same.

Samford (FCS - AL): Special teams quality control Ricky Turner is moving into the director of football operations role source tells FootballScoop.

Louisville: Former tight end (2006-2010) and graduate assistant (2014) Pete Nochta has been named director of on-campus recruiting for the program.

Sam Houston State: Tight ends and tackles coach Kyle Segler has added special teams coordinator duties, per SI.

Illinois: Washington University (D-III - St. Louis, MO) athletic director Josh Whitman will be the new AD at Illinois, according to multiple outlets. More details on AD Scoop.

Tulane: Derrick Sherman, who previously coached the wide receivers at Pittsburg State (D-II - KS), has joined the Tulane staff in an off-the-field role as an offensive assistant.
