Houston: Athletics director Mack Rhoades confirmed to Mark Berman of KRIV-TV in Houston that the Cougars are looking for a 10-year, $15 million naming rights deal for their new football stadium. 

Shasta College (JC - CA): Shasta College will hire Mike Mari as athletics director according to the Redding (Calif.) Record-Searchlight. 

West Virginia: Deputy athletics director Mike Parsons, who has been with WVU since 1979, will receive the remainder of his $165,300 salary through June 30 and a one-time payment of $325,000 on July 1 according to Mike Casazza of the Charleston (W. Va.) Daily Mail.

Learfield Sports: Learfield Sports, has acquired Nelligan Sports Marketing. The acquisition brings marketing rights to over 40 schools who worked with Nelligan including Louisville, Marquette, UMass, and Colorado State (amongst others) to the Learfield team. The deal brings the total number of programs that Learfield now holds the multimedia rights up to 92.

Iowa State: The Iowa Board of Regents is set to vote on a $60 million proposal for improvements to Jack Trice Stadium later this week, which includes the replacement of all south end zone seating, concourse enhancement, video board and sound systems, and new premium seating options.

Kentucky: The University spent $17,000 to air the 60 second football commercial that aired during the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Arkansas: Executive associate athletic director Bev Lewis, who has spent a total of 30 years in a leadership role with the school, has announced her plans to retire on June 30.
