South Carolina: Sources tell us Will Muschamp will bring former UF head strength coach Jeff Dillman to South Carolina as head strength coach. Dillman has been working at Alabama this season.

Florida Institute of Technology: Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne, FL is currently searching for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Athletics department. Education/Skills required: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, 1 year experience at the professional or NCAA Division I or II level as a strength and conditioning coach, current NSCA Certification as Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), First Aid /CPR/AED certification (instructor preferred). This is a full-time position. Purdue: Purdue Sports Performance is currently accepting applications for internship positions for SUMMER 2016. Purdue is home to 18 sports teams. Interns will have the opportunity to assist any given combination of sports as well as special projects, possible sport science, and participate in education meetings. South Dakota: The University of South Dakota is now accepting applications for 1-2 VOLUNTEER interns for the spring 2015 semester. Interns will work with football and Olympic sports. Duties include: weight room maintenance, aiding in supervision of sessions and completion of USD’s performance coach development program. Qualifications include: desire to be a strength coach or be in the strength and conditioning field, STRONG WORK ETHIC, WILLINGNESS TO LEARN, QUEST FOR KNOWLEDGE, PASSION for helping athletes and the program as a whole, great communication skills and a good organizer of people and resources. Interns will earn a hands-on approach to their education as it relates to strength and conditioning and potential for future recommendations for the advancement of the intern’s career and professional development. Applicants must have completed or be in the process of completing their bachelor’s degree. Sioux Falls: The University of Sioux Falls Athletic program is seeking immediately a qualified individual for a graduate assistant in Strength and Conditioning to help in all phases of a successful athletic program. USF is a member of NCAA Division II and of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. A graduate assistantship at USF includes full graduate tuition and fees (upon acceptance to the graduate program), partial housing (if available), a monthly stipend, and dining dollars. This is a 12-month graduate assistantship program with preferred start date in January 2016. Responsibilities will include providing strength and conditioning services for student-athletes participating in USF athletics -- specific team assignments may vary from year to year. The successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree (minimum 3.0 GPA), Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) or equivalent certification, CPR Certification, and be accepted into the University of Sioux Falls MBA or MED graduate program. Candidates must have an understanding of the mission of the University of Sioux Falls, have strong communication skills, and proven commitment to students-athletes and hard work. Experience is preferred but not required. Travel is necessary with a valid driver’s license required. Ability to successfully pass a background check also required.
