The Florida defense is instituting "Juice Points" this season (Featured)

This fall, while watching Jim McElwain's Florida Gators, chances are pretty good you're going to see a good amount of celebrating after the defense makes plays.

The Gator defense, under new defensive coordinator Geoff Collins, are instituting "Juice Points" this season. From the looks of it, that means that when a play gets made on defense, everyone celebrates.

According to the graphic Collins tweeted, "when one of US makes a play, we all made the play," therefore everyone celebrates accordingly.

A free pass to celebrate (within the rules obviously) after making plays on defense sounds like a whole lot of fun doesn't it? What college kid isn't going to like that freedom?

Last year's Florida defense under Will Muschamp ranked in the top 20 in scoring defense, total defense, rushing defense, and in long scrimmage plays given up, so the bar has been set pretty high in Gainesville.
