Miami (OH): Sources tell us Grand Valley State receivers coach Bill Brechin has joined Chuck Martin's staff.

James Madison: Sources tell us Portland State offensive line coach Brad Davis will be the new offensive coordinator at JMU. Like the hire Everett.

Texas: Texas has confirmed that Clint Hurtt will not be part of Charlie Strong's staff at UT.

North Dakota State: Sources tell us Wyoming defensive line coach (was elevated to defensive coordinator during the season) Jamar Cain will join the staff at North Dakota State coaching the defensive ends.

New Mexico State: Sources tell us former Fresno State and New York Jets defensive line coach Kerry Locklin will join the staff as defensive line coach.

Miami: Al Golden has announced that he is committed to Miami and is not leaving. Here is Golden's statement.

Virginia: Sources tell us that Richmond linebackers coach Byron Thweatt will join Mike London's staff.

Louisville: Sources tell us that Tom Jurich's short list begins with Rich Rodriguez and he is working on it today. Will update once more information is available. Jurich will make this decision and it won't drag on for days and days.

Texas: Here is the official announcement from Texas. At a press briefing today, Louisville AD Tom Jurich noted that he thinks Charlie will bring "a majority" of the assistants from Louisville to Texas.

James Madison: Ohio State offensive / special teams grad assistant Parker Fleming will join the James Madison staff as wide receivers / special teams coordinator.

Florida State: Jimbo Fisher's new agreement has been released by Florida State. Jimbo will make $3.5M in 2014, $3.775M in 2015, $4M in 2016, $4.225M in 2017 and $4.5M in 2018. Each of his 9 assistants and directors of operations, player personnel and strength & conditioning were taken care of as well. If Jimbo were to leave for another job within the next two weeks, any assistant that Jimbo doesn't take with him would be owed $600,000 from Jimbo...if he were to take them all then there is effectively no buyout. Don't think this will come into play; but interesting nonetheless.

North Dakota State: Northern Illinois tight ends / fullback coach Tim Polasek will join Kris Klieman's staff as offensive coordinator, according to Dom Izzo. Polasek served as tight ends / fullbacks coach at NDSU in 2012. Same as we reported last week.

Penn State: Former Titans head coach Mike Munchak will interview today, according to Chris Mortensen. Mort also adds that Munchak had an extension on the table with the Titans if he were willing to make significant staff changes but he said he would not do it.

Southeast Missouri State (FCS): Sources tell us that Ricky Coon, who had accepted a position at Coffeyville CC (KS) back in early December, will join the staff at Southeast Missouri State.

Florida: There was a report this morning from 24/7 Sports saying that Texas offensive line coach Stacy Searels would be Florida's next offensive line coach. Florida has contacted us and told us that they are considering other candidates as well and that they have not agreed to hire anyone at this time.
