Buffalo: The University at Buffalo (Buffalo, NY) is seeking proactive and detailed candidates for an UNPAID Football Strength and Conditioning internship for the Winter/Spring semester of 2017. The start and completion dates are flexible. Candidates will work with football as well as assist with other Olympic sports if he/she has interest. Duties will include assisting the strength and conditioning staff with all aspects of physical and psychological development of the football team as well as gaining nutrition experience with the UB athletic fueling station. Candidates should have or be working towards attaining their bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field and at least one of the following certifications or in the process of acquiring these certifications: CSCS, SCCC, CPR. Preferred qualifications: former collegiate athlete, prior strength and conditioning work experience, bachelor’s and/or master’s degree or enrolled in bachelor’s or master’s program.
