Arkansas State: The Arkansas State University Department of Strength & Conditioning is currently accepting applications for a Volunteer Intern Strength & Conditioning Coach. This is an unpaid position that will last for the duration of the 2016 Fall Semester with an estimated start date of August 27, 2016. This internship can be used for course credits. This internship is also Mentor Approved for those individuals preparing to complete the required hours for the SCCC certification issued by the CSCCa. An educational curriculum will be provided as well as practical experience working with all student-athletes at Arkansas State. Interested applicants must exhibit effective communication skills, positive energy, attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and a willingness to work. Responsibilities will be assigned as they are earned. Preferred qualifications include a completed Bachelorβs degree in Exercise Science or a related field and a certification through the CSCCa/NSCA.
