Mississippi State: MSU baseball coach John Cohen will be the Bulldogs' new athletics director, according to Michael Bonner of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger. Mississippi State's chief communications officer Sid Salter and head coach Dan Mullen have stated this is inaccurate.
AFCA: The AFCA has announced that for the first time ever the AFCA Coaches' Awards presentation will be televised. The awards show will be shown on CBS Sports Network at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 10 live from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville.
