Urbana University (D-II - OH): Urbana has an immediate need for an Assistant Football Coach. The position will be responsible for coaching our running backs, video editing using HUDL, recruiting, assisting with the strength and conditioning program, and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Prior college playing experience and/or experience coaching high school football would be a plus in this position. West Alabama (D-II): 2015 Jones County (CC) head coach David Thornton will be the new offensive line coach at West Alabama, source tells FootballScoop.

Improve Accountability: "Coach, I didn't know" is an age-old excuse. Teamworks puts your athletes' calendars in the palm of their hand and allows you to schedule reminders in advance. You can also receive a full delivery report telling you if your text was received, when your email was opened, or who listened to your call. If it's in Teamworks, there is no excuse.

Rutgers: Per source, graduate assistant Rocco DiMeco has left to become the defensive coordinator at Euclid HS (OH). DiMeco previously coached the outside linebackers at Holy Cross, and served as the co-defensive coordinator at Anna Maria College prior to that.

Midwestern State (D-II - TX): Midwestern State University is currently seeking a defensive graduate assistant football coach. The position includes a stipend, housing, and tuition assistance for graduate school. Coaching responsibilities to include; but not limited to, defensive backs. Experience playing and coaching defensive backis preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects of the football program including; but not limited to, video editing & highlights, practice organization, contest preparation, recruitment weekends, student athlete development, and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required. Dixie State (D-II - UT): Per source, Loyola HS (Los Angeles, CA) offensive coordinator Justin Mesa has joined the staff as the wide receivers coach.

Scoop him up:Jon McCune is a former graduate assistant at Slippery Rock (D-II - PA). During that time, his duties included working with a top five 4-3 defense for nearly three years spending most of his time with the front seven. During the second half of his stint on offense, he worked a hurry up “Air Raid” system with focus on Wide Receivers and QB’s, coordinating the entire intern staff, organizing all practice, game & trade film along with handling film breakdown for both offense & defense. McCune has eight years of collegiate recruiting experience. Jon organized recruit correspondence, evaluated talent, screened positional recruits, assisted with the testing of athletes on recruiting visits and organized recruiting weekends and tours. McCune recently spent the last year as offensive coordinator at Southwestern HS (NY) and during his coaching career has built relationships with Al Washington, Phil Longo, Shawn Lutz, Chris Conrad and Freddie Lindsay, among others. Bethany (D-III - WV): Bethany College is seeking a qualified applicant for an intern position with the football program. This position will report to the head football coach and will coach the RBs/TEs. Duties will include coaching, recruiting, and fundraising. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics. The position includes housing and meals and a salary of $9,000 as well as the ability to receive a masters. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, a valid driver's license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience coaching at the collegiate or high school level. Knowledge of and adherence to Bethany, NCAA Division III, and Presidents' Athletic Conference rules and regulations are also required. Compensation includes stipend, room and board, and tuition waiver into Bethany’s MAT program. The selected candidate must be enrolled in Bethany's MAT program as a condition of employment. UW-Platteville (D-III): UW-Platteville has hired Sam Siefkes to be their co-defensive coordinator, per source. Siefkes previously served as a defensive graduate assistant at Wisconsin and also coached at UW-La Crosse (D-III) and FIU.

Lindenwood (D-II - MO): Lindenwood University in St. Charles MO. a member of the MIAA conference (Division II) is seeking a full-time defensive asst. The qualified applicant must have recruiting and special teams experience. The position will also have additional duties assigned by the Head Coach. Masters degree preferred.
