Oregon: Oregonian columnist John Canzano reports that PJ Fleck did not interview today with Oregon, adding that he believes "that door is closed."

Baylor: Word began to get out today about the possibility of Baylor speaking with Oklahoma State head coach Mike Gundy. Sources tell FootballScoop this is straight coaching search legend....not based in reality. Not happening.

Purdue: Athletic director Mike Bobinski notes that Jeff Brohm will have a $3.5 million pool to hire his assistant coaches, a large increase from the $2.2 million that was allotted last season.

Kent State: Sources tell FootballScoop Kent State and head coach Paul Haynes are expected to part ways. Multiple sources tell us AD Joel Nielsen has been working back channels gauging interest in the position the past few weeks; however we hear the response hasn't been exceedingly positive. Nothing has been finalized at this point, per sources, but we understand both sides expect to move on. Will update as more is clear. Update> A representative of Kent State athletics called this afternoon to state that there have been no "back channel" checks and to note that at this time Paul Haynes remains under contract through the 2017 season.

Oregon: Former Oregon head coach & athletic director Mike Bellotti said on the Finebaum show this afternoon that his 4 coaches he would interview were Matt Rhule, Jim McElwain, Willie Taggart and Dan Mullen.

Nebraska: Mike Riley has now formally announced the addition of Donte Williams as the Huskers new defensive backs coach.

Lindenwood (D-II - MO): Lindenwood will hire Sioux Falls head coach Jed Stugart as head coach, according to the Argus (S.D.) Leader. Sioux Falls are expected to hire West Virginia State head coach Jon Anderson as his replacement, the paper reports.

Missouri Western (D-II): Sources tell FootballScoop that Matt Williamson will be the new head coach at MO West. Williamson, a former All-American at MO West, served as defensive coordinator at Stephen F. Austin the past three seasons and at Central Arkansas and Missouri Western prior to that.

Western Kentucky: Sources tell us that Tennessee Titans quarterbacks coach Jason Michael (a former WKU player), and former WKU offensive coordinator Ty Helton (who now serves as the quarterbacks coach / pass game coordinator at USC) have been contacted about the Western Kentucky job. Pat Forde also mentions Michael as a candidate and adds that WKU co-offensive coordinator / special teams coordinator Tony Levine and interim head coach and defensive coordinator Nick Holt are also potential replacements.

Baylor: With Jeff Brohm to Purdue, the Baylor search continues on. Sources tell FootballScoop Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson's reps have been working to get Anderson in the mix at Baylor (where Anderson began his playing career). We had previously heard Anderson's name in connection with the Houston search as well. Will keep you posted as more becomes clear. In three seasons at A-State, Anderson's teams have won 23 games (7, 9 and 7).

Purdue: Jeff Brohm's contract will reportedly be a 6-year deal worth $20 million, according to multiple reports.

Texas A&M Commerce (D-II): Head coach Colby Carthel has inked a four-year contract extension taking him through the 2020 season. Carthel has led the program to a 34-13 mark in four seasons, including a first-round playoff win this season.

Western Kentucky: WKU has confirmed the departure of Jeff Brohm.Defensive coordinator Nick Holt will be WKU's interim head coach. The Hilltoppers will meet Memphis in the Boca Raton Bowl on Dec. 20. Per his contract, WKU will be owed a $900,000 buyout from Jeff Brohm.

Oberlin (D-III - OH): Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Physical Education invites applications for the position of Assistant Coach of Football / Offensive Line. This is a full-time, 12-month Administrative and Professional Staff position, reporting to the Head Coach of Football and working with the Director of Athletics and Physical Education. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist the head football coach with the organization and direction of all aspects of the NCAA Division III football program; perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. Specific responsibilities include coaching the offensive line, identification and recruitment of athletically and academically qualified student-athletes; regular practice sessions and game preparation; promoting the philosophy and goals of the Oberlin College Department of Athletics and Oberlin College. Purdue: Sources tell FootballScoop that Western Kentucky head coach Jeff Brohm will be the new head coach at Purdue.

Methodist (D-III - NC):Methodist University is looking to fill two open dates for 2018 and 2019. Looking for a Home game on September 1st 2018 (Week 1) and a return trip Away game on September 7th 2019 (Week 1). UNLV: Sources tell FootballScoop former Arizona & West Virginia defensive backs coach David Lockwood is set to join the UNLV staff coaching the corners.

Olivet Nazarene (NAIA - IL): Olivet Nazarene University seeking applicants for the position of Offensive Coordinator. This is a full time position. Candidates must demonstrate exceptional knowledge of offensive strategy (gun zone option/spread background), strong leadership, successful recruiting, organization and communication skills. Responsibilities include but not limited to leading the offense, coaching a position, recruiting, and academic & spiritual growth of players. Previous coaching experience (as an offense coordinator) is required. Minnesota Vikings: The organization has announced that Mike Zimmer is back working and is expected to travel with the team back this weekend for their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Albright College (D-III - PA): Albright College has an immediate opening for defense intern coach. Position includes a $3,000 stipend, free off-campus housing & meal plan. Email resume, cover letter and contact info on 3 references to defensive coordinator Randy Yerger at ryerger@albright.edu.

Notre Dame: Brian Kelly notes that the Irish's next defensive coordinator will likely be given the latitude to bring in his own assistants. “I think it’s reasonable to expect that if you did hire from within there could be change, and if you did hire from outside, I think you have to allow that person to interview and feel comfortable with the staff," Kelly told ND Insider.

Indiana: Quality control assistant Shawn Watson will coach the Hoosier quarterbacks for bowl game. Watson is the former offensive coordinator at Louisville, and most recently, Texas.
