Stonehill (D-II - MA): Stonehill College seeks applicants for the position of assistant football coach for offense (quarterbacks). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching on the offensive side of the ball, preferably quarterbacks/wide receivers, with at least 1 year of collegiate coaching experience and have ties to the Northeast region. Candidates will be responsible for coaching a position group, recruiting a geographical area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary will be commensurate with experience and include full health benefits. The University of Charleston (D-II - WV): The University of Charleston, located in Charleston, WV would like to welcome applicants for a defensive line position. This is a restricted earnings position with possible housing available. The position will be responsible for coaching the defensive line, recruiting assigned area, and film break down. Candidates will be considered with a strong passion for recruiting, (possible recruiting coordinator role) as well as, use with DVSport is recommended. Also other duties that will be assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Albion (D-III - MI): The Albion College Department of Athletics invites applications for the position of part-time assistant football coach (running backs). This is a 5-6 month part time position with employment beginning August 1, 2016. This is a stipend position ($3,500 for season plus $1,500 for Spring Practice). There is no housing or meals included. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) create and implement practice and game plans, b) breakdown film and provide scouting reports, c) maintain working knowledge of NCAA, MIAA, and Albion College policies and procedures, d) provide instruction to student-athletes through practice or film review e) other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Qualifications Include: Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in collegiate athletics as a coach, player, or student manager. Must have a valid, or be eligible to obtain, a Michigan driver’s license. Conference USA: The league has hired former NFL vice president for football operations and compliance Merton Hanks to serve as their senior associate commissioner. Hanks spent the past 13 seasons working with the NFL.
NCAA: Chief operating officer Jim Isch, who retired last year, made over $2.7 million in 2014, including more than $1.6 million in retirement and other deferred compensation according to USA Today. In comparison, NCAA President Mark Emmert made nearly $1.9 million in total compensation in 2014, according to federal tax return documents.
St. Scholastica (D III – MN): St. Scholastica is seeking applicants for full time assistant coach. Defensive and special teams coaching experience preferred. This is a full time position including special teams coordinating, recruiting, and other duties as assigned by the head coach and athletic director. Feather River (JC - CA): Feather River College in Quincy, CA is looking for a defensive assistant position, with possible coordinator duties. Contract start date is August 1. Compensation includes stipend, and potentially course instruction, and other compensated duties serving the college. Hocking College (JC - OH): Hocking College is seeking an assistant running backs coach working with the Pistol Offense. This is a stipend position paying $3,000 for the 2016-2017 Academic Year. There will be an educational benefit as well. The right candidate will coach the running backs and have a recruiting area. The position will start on or before July 25th.
