Minnesota: At Minnesota, sources tell us defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys will be the lead person on the search to fill the linebackers position. Auburn: Per sources, Byrnes HS (SC) head coach Bobby Bentley has been offered a position on staff at Auburn and is expected to accept it today. Will update... Update> Sources confirm to us that Bentley has accepted an off the field role (we hear offensive analyst...focusing on quarterback play). Expect an announcement from Auburn later today or tomorrow confirming. 

Montreal Alouettes (CFL): Former Calgary Stampeders head coach Tom Higgins will be the new head coach in Montreal, according to Herb Zurkowsky. Higgins has most recently served as the director of officiating for the CFL. Update> We have confirmed the hire. 

Texas A&M: Per source, New Mexico defensive grad assistant TJ Poe has accepted the defensive grad assistant job at Texas A&M and will work with the defensive line.

East LA (JC - CA): Quarterbacks coach Narciso Diaz has been named head coach at Franklin HS (Los Angeles, CA).

Toledo: Max Smith, who spent last season as an offensive grad assistant working with the receivers, has accepted the head coaching job at Boca Ciega HS (FL). Prior to joining the Toledo staff, Smith was the head coach at Dunedin HS (FL).

Winnipeg Blue Bombers (CFL): Gene Dahlquist has been announced as quarterbacks coach. Dahlquist has previously served as the offensive coordinator at Oregon, Boise State, Illinois and Texas during his 30 year coaching career.

Kansas: Charlie Weis has announced the hiring of Bernie Parmalee as special teams quality control. Parmalee is the father of current Jayhawks wide receiver Tre' Parmalee and worked previously under Weis at Notre Dame and with the Kansas City Chiefs. 

New Mexico: Sources tell us that former New Mexico defensive lineman Jacori Greer has joined the staff as a defensive grad assistant.

Florida State: Per source, Minnesota linebackers coach Bill Miller has accepted the final coaching position on Florida State's staff. 247 is reporting the same. Jerry Kill has now announced the move. 

Rutgers: As we previously noted, Mike Teel has joined the staff as a graduate assistant. Rutgers has also now announced that Michael Zuckerman is joining the staff as a grad assistant. 

Arkansas Baptist (JC): Arkansas Baptist is looking for a home game October 25, 2014. Looking for a D-II, D-III or NAIA opponent. Please contact director of football operations Lance Flint at 870.820.5558

Midland (NAIA - NE): Midland University is seeking applicants for a Full-Time Assistant Football Coach/Defensive Coordinator position. Minimum of 3 to 5 years defensive football coaching and/or coordinating experience is preferred. Nevada: Following up on last night's report, per sources, Scott Boone will be named defensive coordinator at Nevada later today.

MacMurray (D-III - IL): MacMurray College, located in Jacksonville, IL is looking for an entry-level intern assistant football coach for the upcoming Spring Ball period and the 2014-2015 school year. This position will coach WRs and have recruiting responsibilities. There is NO stipend for this position. Housing and a partial meal plan is provided.
