Anytime you can add a proven defensive coordinator, fresh off a stint as a SEC head coach to your staff, you reach deep in your pockets and make it happen. That's exactly what Gus Malzahn and Auburn did to land Muschamp, paying him around $1.6 million annually and making him one of the highest paid assistants in the country.
When you add a guy like Muschamp, giving him his own hype video to welcome him (back) to Auburn also seems very appropriate...and that's exactly what they did.
Seeing Muschamp's fire on the sidelines is enough to make you want to chug that cup of coffee sitting in front of you...but don't do it.
