Kansas State is wrapping up the fundraising push for the North Stadium Project, which comes with a price tag of $65 million and includes a major renovation of the Vanier Football Complex. In fact, their tearing the complex down and completely replacing it.
At their spring game yesterday, athletic director John Currie unveiled the new plans for the new building which will house state of the art equipment and graphics, a grand four-story atrium, and new seating and new scoreboards and video boards on the Northwest and Northeast corners of the stadium.
Construction will begin following the Wildcats final home game of 2014 against Kansas and most of the new facility will be done by the start of the 2015 season.
