Fordham: Athletic director David Roach has received a contract extension through 2019, the school has announced. Roach joined Fordham in October of 2012.
Texas: Texas has given the thumbs up to start selling beer at baseball and softball games, as a test before rolling it out at other sporting events. The football spring game will not include beer.
Northern Illinois: Mellisa Dawson is joining the NIU staff as the senior associate athletic director / director of student-athlete academic support services. Dawson has worked with student-athletes at Tulsa, Iowa, South Carolina, and Kentucky in similar roles.
