If you're a Cleveland sports fan, you're used to disappointing seasons and comedies being made about your hometown team at this point.
However, that likely hasn't made the search for a new head coach in Cleveland any easier to digest and interpret. After Rob Chudzinski lasted just a season, Cleveland is the only remaining NFL without a head coach. With the NFL draft sitting just around the corner, time is of the essence, and fans are growing impatient.
In a response to fans wanting answers on the coaching search and its progress, franchise owner Jimmy Haslam released the following statement to season ticket holders:
Multiple reports over the past few weeks have indicated that Cleveland wants to bring in Denver offensive coordinator Adam Gase for an interview, but Gase stated that he would not interview until the conclusion of their season. As always, we'll keep you updated on how this one progresses.
