After all the craziness yesterday, this behind the scenes video from Ole Miss should give you some good chills.
Cameras were inside the meeting room when athletic director Ross Bjork addressed the team for what you can tell was a big moment, and after leading them on a long and winding address - probably meant to misdirect them a bit - Bjork pointed to the doors to introduce the team to their new head coach (at about the 5-minute mark).
When those doors open, and Luke walks through them, the entire team stands for an ovation, and a few guys come up to the front of the room to hug coach Luke, and you cant tell it's an emotional moment.
Then Luke takes the podium, first thanking Bjork for his trust in him, first as the interim head coach, and now as the full-time head coach of the Rebels. You can feel how bad coach Luke wanted this one, and how much the team appreciates having him as their leader moving the program forward.
"Mississippi is not a stepping stone. This is somewhere I want to be, and I love, and will be here until they run me out of here," Luke tells the team.
