For coaches, National Signing Day can be a lot like Christmas but instead of unwrapping gifts, they wait for commitments from kids they've been in contact with for years to roll in.
So what better way to celebrate the first ever early signing day, just a few days before Christmas on December 20th, than in some ugly Christmas sweaters?
That's how Mark Elder and his staff at Eastern Kentucky did, celebrating each commitment that came across their screen in some of the most festive holiday sweaters you've ever seen. These guys clearly had a lot of fun with it, and went all out.
It's also worth noting that EKU hauled in the #5 recruiting class among FCS schools, so had plenty of reason to be excited.
Take a look.
